Settings

Account​

You don't need to login to use ReadLayer. If you have a premium plan, you need to login.

Language​

Select your preferred language. It will be used to extract similar terms.

Domain whitelist​

If you add one or more domains, the highlighting feature will only work on those domains and all pages within them.

Domain blacklist​

If you add one or more domains, the highlighting feature will be disabled for those domains and all pages within them.

Import​

Excel​

You can import a list of terms directly from an Excel file. Please consider the following:

  • Each tab is a theme, the name of the tab is the name of the theme.
  • Each row is a term.
  • Each cell is a possible name/phrase for that term.
  • All terms will be added as Similar to find similar ocurrences in text. If you want to find an exact match, surround the name/phrase with quotes.

This will overwrite your current collection.

JSON​

If you exported your collection in JSON format using the extension's export functionality, you can import it here.

Export​

JSON​

You can export your collection in JSON format, which is useful for backing up your data. Later, you can import your backed-up collection.
